Mogo Wildlife Park
I was lucky to escape the big smoke with the family during the last week of the school holidays. We checked into Mogo Wildlife Park, approximately 300 km drive south of Sydney. MogoWildlifePark provides a home to the largest collection of exotic and endangered animal species in Australia, as well as the largest collection of primates in the country. It reopened its doors late February 2020, two months after staff sheltered in the zoo to protect hundreds of animals from a devastating bushfire that swept through the NSW south coast on New Year’s Eve.
I have always wanted to try and get some photos of the animals in a Zoo, especially of a big cat. I was very lucky on the day, with low patronage, a bright overcast day and some animals that were willing to pose for a fraction of a second 🙂
If you get a chance I highly recommend you visit this magical place.
